I'd like to share my last 3 tags for 2013 with you, they are for the tags challenge over on docrafts.
Sometimes I struggle to come up with anything but sometimes I know exactly what I am going to do as was the case with the December tag.
This one is for December and I really enjoyed making this one.

This one was for November and I got the idea from a card I made at a card class and I really enjoyed this one as well.

This one was for October, bet you didn't guess, this one turned out better than I expected.

My thanks as usual for your visit, it is much appreciated!

Well I thought I would carry on the theme and share some more Christmas cards with you. These are for my nieces; the top one is for the older girls, the middle one for younger girls, using a Lili of the Valley stamp and then for the smaller ones, where I used a free stamp from a mag.

I'll be sharing some more soon,

Thanks for your visit and any comments are much appreciated.

Jayne Nestorenko

Hi today's post is to share some cards that I made at a Jayne Nestorenko class. Jayne is really lovely and she showed us some great techniques using Distress inks. Hopefully she will pay another visit to the Craft Patch so I can attend another class.

Thanks for visiting!

So Glad

It's been ages since I posted but that always seems to happen after I've had a holiday, it takes me a while to get back into things. The holiday I had was with my sisters, just us girls and it was fab and I wanted to give my sisters a special card each when we arrived, I love the saying as we are all very close even though Hazel, the eldest, now lives in Kos Greece (lucky thing). They are my second attempt at painting with distress ink pads and I was really pleased with them, I will now have to get the re-inkers.

As always thanks for visiting!

Saturated Canary Lilliana

Meet Lilliana she is my first attempt at painting with distress inks, I think I was a little heavy with the paint (she looks a little better close up) but I had to use it as I had run out of time to do another one to on my niece's card but I have done some more and they have turned out very well I am really pleased with them but I can't share

Oh and I went a bit mad with the frantage.

Thanks for visiting.

50th Birthday

Today's card was made for an old school friend ( I should omit the old I think) for her 50th birthday, we met up on Saturday to celebrate, where I had far too much to drink and have been suffering since. The scary bit for me is that it will be my turn in a few months!
I love the greeting, which I have used many times for similar special cards.

Thanks for visiting and any comments you wish to leave.

Inky session

I have been having an inky session with my distress inks, I don't always get the results I want but when I do I love them and the stamp from Inkylicious is just fab for those hard to make male cards.

So thanks for stopping by and any comments are much appreciated.

House warming

I only have the one card for today, it was made for a work colleague. I was struggling with a house warming card so I searched the docrafts site for what seemed like hours for inspiration and someone had used this image from a JNM CD and I thought it made a great little card.

Thanks for looking and any comments are very much appreciated.

A Mixed bunch today

Hello everyone today's cards are a bit of a mixed bunch using various techniques, with a little explanation under each card.
The inspiration for this one was taken from Craft Stamper. Masked a section off at the bottom stamped in versamark and embossed with white embossing powder then inked with distress inks and then the flower stamped and a greeting added
I used some more SU stamps and SU paper for this one, stamped the flowers with distress inks and added some ribbon. I had already made this without the easel bit and decided to make another one and make it an easel....sorry i'm rambling.

This one was made for my niece using one of my fav stamps "Daisy", she was coloured with promarkers.

Well that's it for this week and as always thanks for stopping by.

As always thanks for stopping by.
